Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) has unveiled its flagship Centre for Exercise Science and Medicine (CESAME), a state-of-the-art research hub dedicated to advancing sports science and medicine. As a testament to its global standing, CESAME is the first in Hong Kong and one of just 29 centres worldwide to be recognized as a Collaborating Centre by the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS). The Centre will leverage its advanced labs and transdisciplinary framework to support elite athletes, advance anti-doping science, and promote "exercise as medicine" for the wider community.
